A Community Effort We\u2019re Proud Of<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

While we\u2019re just a little bit chuffed at what we\u2019ve been able to achieve so far this Rotary year, we\u2019re very aware that none of it would be possible without the ongoing support of our wonderful local community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to you, we\u2019ve been able to contribute almost $20,000 over the past 10 months<\/strong> to support a diverse range of organisations, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BWMCA, Buderim Private Auxiliary, Foote Sanctuary, Maroochy Neighbourhood Centre, Buderim Croquet Club, a school in the Philippines, The Pyjama Lady, 4 Paws, Buderim Scouts, Hope House Project Vietnam, Story Dogs, The Rotary Foundation, Rotary Overseas Medical Aid, and sponsorship of a local student to attend the National Youth Science Forum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each of these contributions represents a real and meaningful impact\u2014locally, nationally, and internationally\u2014and reflects the spirit of \u201cService Above Self\u201d that sits at the heart of Rotary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of course, it\u2019s not all work! Along the way we\u2019ve had tremendous fun connecting with the community through events like our Bunnings BBQs, Dogs Day Out, Jazz in the Park, Buderim Carols in the Park, and the Buderim Australia Day Picnic in the Park. These moments of fellowship are just as important as the funds we raise\u2014they\u2019re what keep our club strong and connected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There\u2019s a real sense of satisfaction in being able to give back to our community in such a meaningful way, and we\u2019re excited about what we can achieve in the months ahead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our \u2018Friends of Rotary\u2019 members help out at our community events, occasionally join us for our lunch meetings and social events, and are an integral and valued part of our Club.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
